You should edit essay after completing it. However, in order to attain a better result, we recommend you to edit it not only in the end. You should also edit each part of your essay after completing it. For example, after composing the essay introduction, you should revise it attentively and correct the mistakes at once. The same thing can be said about the body and the conclusive part of the essay. But it does not mean that editing each part of essay at once will deliver you from editing it in the end. No way. You should edit the entire essay in order to make sure that all the part suit to each other, and that they are linked with each other.
We also want you to notice that it is much better to edit the entire essay the next day, or at least after some time after completing it. You should first have some rest and refresh your brain, and then set to edit the essay.
